I have wanted this book for some time, and now that I really need it, I got it. Corrects a lot of older phallacies on injuries and healing, with new updates on research. Goes IN DEPTH of each musculo-Skeletal type of injury, and gives fairly simple recommendations of how to approach them, with excercises to assist in their healing. Not your dad's therapy book----one for our generation! Tim

An excellent resource from Scott Hogan that is focused on joint connective tissue, muscle health and strength throughout full range of motion, and recovery from injury through daily mobility and functional activities. The total body training program includes effective periodization and focuses on areas of common injury. I have given several copies to friends and family, and all are appreciated. Thank you!

I am enjoying the experience with this book. I admittedly haven't read it all as I'm experienced, but still want to learn more! I managed to put together the workouts and made a spreadsheet to simplify things. The book isn't as concise as I'd have liked, but I am grateful to have this resource regardless. And most of the time, their team has more than willing to answer my million questions. They're limited in bandwidth or else they would be! Perhaps reading all of the content prevents a lot of the potential questions. I think the cues could be worded better with some more perspectives

I found this book to be an excellent guide to assessing my current physical state and correcting my ideas of how to go about strengthening my joints. It doesn't require hours per day but two days a week for beginners like me. Part 3 has pictures of the exercises and detailed descriptions of the exercises, including setup,, execution, common mistakes,, cues, and variations. I couldn't ask for better guidance.

The person this book describes is me; powering through discomfort and chronic injury through sheer will. Without a thought of a better way to do it. I'm only halfway through and it's already been enlightening. Practicing even the most basic concepts of posture and gait has shown tremdous return. I'm looking forward to in depth study to best utilize the tools provided here.

I would highly suggest buying this book and implementing the workouts outlined in the back of the book. This book is the most useful “getting out of pain” book I have read. Due to being in musculoskeletal pain for so long, I have read about 15 books regarding this. I can say without a doubt tjis is the most useful. I have genuinely recommended this book to about 50 different people. This is due to how implementable this book is. The exercises and exercise program make the book an absolute gem because it provides a concise, succinct way of implementing the knowledge Scott outlines in the book. I often tell people this is the most useful book I have ever read because it helped me get out of a pain. I plan to use the workout routine for the rest of my life because you can workout indefinitely while feeling great. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Read the book, implement the workouts, and you’re on a great path of getting out of pain.
