“Good tasting non-dairy protein powder. It’s really best in a smoothie. I’ve tried it in a shaker bottle with BCAAs as a recovery protein drink and it didn’t mix completely. Also, it has 10g of protein per 4 Tablespoons and I really need 20g for recovery post workout. So I’ll use it in smoothies for snacks as that seems the best application. It’s nice to have another protein powder option other than pea protein since I’m sensitive to whey.”
“I was so excited to try this product, based on the description...not sweet or gritty. It is not that, but I do not care for the bitter, earthy taste, which I cannot seem to hide with other ingredients. I have had to reduce by at least 50% the recommended amount to overcome it. I like that it is plant based and clean, but for me, it is not as drinkable as I would like. Do you think if I added vanilla extract that might help?”
“I've tried a LOT of protein powders, vegan, plant-based and not, and so many of them have left a weird aftertaste, altered the taste of the smoothie, changed the consistency, etc., UNTIL THIS ONE!!! I thought it was too good to be true when I was reading the description and that Jen went to so many people to get exactly what she wanted with no compromise (because how many times have we heard this, right?) but I should have trusted her! It is as awesome as she describes it! If you're on the fence, go for it because this protein boost is EXCELLENT! I'm hooked.”
