“As someone who has a lactose intolerance, the vegan shakes are a wonderful find. They taste great. They're so convenient. They're not an expensive meal & they're filling. They are everything they say they are. I like to mix 3 parts vanilla to one part chocolates but they're both delicious on their own too.”
“Because I choose the Vegan variety, due to mucas build up in my nose and throat, I have to become very creative to change up the flavours. I add decaf coffee to the vanilla. I keep the juice from the sliced Beetroot which my husband loves, topping it up with water to have enough liquid, and add vanilla to it. I keep juice from frozen Blueberries when they are thawd and do the same. I add decaf coffee to the chocolate to have mocha, and I add extra cocoa as well for a stronger hit of chocolate. I notice I can add some spices as well from the plum pudding recipe. I have not tried that yet.
It is tough for me to loose weight thou, I am able to retain my weight if I have one for Breakfast. If I have 2 shakes, I may go down a little, but it is so hard to keep that up. My best way to loose weight is through Thinco. It actually works for me. I do that in March April and again in Sept October, 5 to 6 week brackets, then try to maintain my loss with Lady Shake. I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago from Uteran Cancer, and it has been a real struggle. I lost all strenght in my hips after the radiothera[py for 5 weeks. 4 years later, I am S L O W L Y getting more strength. It also harmed my back, which gives me pain down my right leg. My 3rd disc moves up to 5mm. I know others are worse off than I, but it is a struggle. It is all in the nerves. Anyhow keep on keepin on at age 68.. I am on no other medication.”
“This is the best meal replacement product I have tried (I have tried a few available at the Chemist). It feels the most "natural", it's not too sweet and it doesn't have a weird aftertaste that many plant-based shakes have.”
“Great vegan shake! I’m not a vegan but have a mild lactose intolerance. This shake is the best vegan shake I’ve tried. It doesn’t have any horrible coconut taste and I mix it to the consistency of pancake batter and eat it. When you mix it up with a spoon it has a silky consistency which is nice. The first one I had was a bit hard to eat but after that I looked forward to it and enjoyed it so if you don’t like it at first keep drinking it as you will probably get used to it quickly. Will be buying again!”
“The best vegan weight loss shake out there-Tastes amazing, fills you up and it works for losing weight. I love both the choclate and vanilla flavours but wish there was more flavours such as strawberry, caramel and banana”
