Dental Lace is the most eco-friendly natural dental floss on the market. The floss is made from 100% mulberry silk (not polyester or bamboo / polyester blend). It's packed in a small glass jar with a stainless steel lid and the 'plastic' bag that the second spool comes packed in is actually a plant based film that's biodegradable. Refill packs are available to purchase. There is no plastic in the packaging of this product and we do not use plastic in our packing materials.LENGTH - 2 x 30m spoolsPlease note: the silk is made from silk worms. We do have a vegan option available in this brand, but the floss contains polyester and is not 100% plastic free.

“I love the recyclable packaging, and the fact that the floss is compostable. However, the floss itself is very thin, and no matter how gently I try to use it, it just snaps. So my glass container, lid, and six refill spools of floss will be consigned to the scrapheap of good intentions, and I will revert to Dr Tungs - which seems to work well for me.”

“As reviewed for the blue floss, I’m very happy with the product which is easy to use (occasional breaking) and beautifully packaged. I bought the blue one for a friend and she loved it. Feels good to compost the used floss!”

“Love the container. Looks good on bathroom counter & small enough for my handbag when needed (though I keep it in its box in my bag as I worry I'm going to loose the end/contaminate the floss or worse, catch my finger on the cutter). I'm so use to have a floss with a covered top, it may take a bit of getting use to. The floss itself is strong though a little rough due to the wax? It's not as smooth as commercial tape, feeling more like a scrape when you get your teeth cleaned! Does the job but if you've got tight fitting teeth, I could see you may have a bit of trouble. Would I buy this again? Definitely!”

“Great packaging. But this is too thick for my teeth and they kept snapping. Waste of money. Shop Naturally Note: If yo uhave really tight teeth, we would recommend another of our shops dental floss brands”

“This is a really nice floss to use - I love the packaging, and that the floss itself is biodegradable. It does tend to snap if you pull to hard on it, but otherwise it's a great option for ecological flossing.”
