Before Power Rangers, there was Super Sentai!See where the worldwide phenomenon began with the original Japanese series that inspired the Power Rangers franchise!It is the year 1999. The Machine Empire of Baranoia, led by Emperor Bacchus Wrath, has invaded Earth with the intention of wiping out all human life and bringing about machine rule. Chief Counsellor Miura of the UAOH (United Airforce Overtech Hardware), in a desperate attempt to quell this invasion, has revived super energies born of the lost civilization of Pangaea. “i was scared that after kakuranger, sales would plummet, but it seems not! Ohranger was released and thankfully its done well! Ohranger was very different from power rangers zeo, as the team was a military team compared to our zeo season. but there was a lot of unused footage from ohranger that never made it to the US. If you want the true ending to the machine empire, get ready for the big finale here in ohranger!”

“For fans of Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (or in this case, Power Rangers Zeo, to be more specific), Chouriki Sentai Ohranger is a must-see for anyone wishing to see where its American counterpart came from! In all honesty, the original Japanese are much more interesting and while the show is still aimed for children, the Japanese Sentai series tends to be less full of American cheese. Overall, a fun romp and it's always interesting seeing the footage that never made it over the seas to America! Here's hoping we get to see the original Sentai that came before Zyuranger (aka the series America got as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)!”

“This is one of the best in the series, as well as one of my personal favorites. This show is action-packed and highlights some of the best effects work of its era. Trust me and buy this one you will thank me later.”
