"... breakneck car chases, stunt tumbles ... SWAT gunfire [plus] a gold mine of one-liners" – The Washington Post
This is the city ... and only Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks can save it in this hilarious box-office blockbuster that pays homage to the famed original police dramas of the '50s and '60s.
Aykroyd is at his comedic best as the namesake nephew of Detective Sgt. Joe Friday. Like his uncle, he's a blue-suited, by-the-rules cop who reluctantly joins forces with his footloose partner Pep Streebek (Hanks) to rescue the City of Angels from the machinations of a power-mad Reverend and corrupt Police Commissioners. And those are "just the facts" of this hysterically funny action-comedy!

The film gets 5 stars but the packing gets a 1. The poster was damaged on both edges because of how the ends of the tube were folded in as opposed to using caps on both sides. Also, the Blu/Slipcase was free to slide around the entire box. Lastly, the mailer/box was taped poorly, so one could stick their finger inside the box and feel the contents. I had problems with the last poster/blu-ray I ordered as well. I wish Shout/Scream used someone else for their order fulfillment.

Poster looked to be banged up before placed in a very solid tube. As I'm not a diehard, this was not super important, but if this were an MST3k item, there would have been an email. The product itself is very nice and the print brings new life to this.

Watched the film last night and the specs were fantastic. Mostly just happy to have this in my collection. I'm not going to lie, I do really wish you had been able to license the music video. It feels a little incomplete without it. But I also understand that music licensing is expensive and complicated. (my wife actually works in that business so it's made me more sympathetic.) So while the product isn't my absolute ideal, I still appreciate that you are putting out a wide range of films that I love. Never want you to stop.
