“I just bought the 26" & 30" slip collars and they are stunning to look at and very well made. We have the biggest, most powerful dog breed on the planet and need quality collars for our English Mastiffs. However, our biggest boy, Kahless the Unforgettable, weighs 251 pounds and has a 34" neck. :-( The sizes only go up to 30" which is fine for our 200 pounder.
My only suggestion - Make them in 32 and 34" sizes.”
“Many years ago I had a similar collar but this one turned out not to be what I expected. I was looking for a collar with all links closed solid with no gaps, rounded end rings and one that would hang flat. Each link in this collar has a hairline gap, flat end rings and has seven twists when hanging down from one of the end circles. However, all of my requirements are directed at special safety needs in training police canines which may not be of concern to most. Of interest to all might be that the links are 1/2" wide so on a big dog it will not look like the one on the dog pictured here. With that said it is a very nice looking collar and has a good heft to it so I'm sure it would be fine for casual use.”
“Great quality chain, my dog Apollo loves it! The cheap metal chokers get rusty quickly and stain his white hair. This is stainless steel which should last a very long time. Is definitely not as thick as it looks on the plastic dog in the product pictures, perfect size and good looking chain pattern.”
“I did measure my dogs head before ordering. As it says to measure the largest part of the head, and then add an inch or two. I did do that it was about 17" and I ordered the 18" collar. Anything smaller and it would not have gone over my dogs head. This is definitely a nice looking collar. I do wish I could remove a link or two, but other than that its gorgeous. It comes wrapped in plastic so it is nice and bling shiny when it arrives. It also comes in a pouch like a jewelry pouch for the collar. It made me feel like it was dog jewelry and my dog was receiving a gift, but it was super nice. My dog is always breaking every collar I get her especially those ones with the plastic connectors. Those break really easy, or shes figured out how to remove them. With this collar she won't be able to do that. Also my dog is a puller. So this chain works great when we are on walkies.”
“this is the best choke chain I have seen but I thought it was going to be big like the picture this is why I took off a star but if you're looking for something big like the picture i would suggest buying the 20mm Silver Plated Rope Chain Necklace, I bought the 40mm to make it fit around my American Bully twice it is fake but it looks real nice on him but if you have a smaller dog I would suggest buying the 20mm”
“Very high quality item. Looks great on my dog, he's a chocolate lab so naturally he's not very tough looking, but with this awesome Cuban chain he looks like a tough cookie. It comes wrapped up in a very tight plastic and a suede bag, it's been raining here and he's gone outside in the rain, the morning after I noticed that the chain wasn't affected at all, and that's because it's made of stainless steel. Also, I was a little skeptical at first because I thought it would be too heavy, but it actually wasn't, it's very light weight. I recommend it to anyone that has a med large- x large dog.
