The chain will go through the eye sockets of the skulls just to clarify where the chain is in the picture. It hangs low due to the long chain. That makes it easier to put it on and take it off, but if you're bust inclined it'll try to settle between your cleavage. So switching chains or shortening the chain might be a good idea if you want to avoid that. All and all, I'm pretty please with the necklace as it'll go great with his outfits.
