I love that this necklace says happiness in a symbolic, thoughtful and sculptural way, rather than literally spelling out the word. It came in a sheer, blue, nylon, drawstring gift bag that was inside of a plastic ziplock envelope to protect it during shipping, I suppose, in case it was shipped with something that could leak. I would have felt better if it was inside of a rigid envelope inside of the soft mailer it came in, but mine arrived in tact and in great condition.
