“Well yes they are cheap. I found it unrealistic to connect multi cores whilst still clamping the cables. So if it’s cheap and cheerful and yes are now in place but I would describe it as a quality product. So would pay a little more for better quality. Metal casing going in the hole is very weak and I ended up with several springs failing and the metal bent.”
“Solid build fitting but springs fitted are far to strong for product. 5 out of 10 springs jumped out of holder when placing in ceiling void and had to resort to using springs from previous fittings. I imagine that if fitting was ever needed to be removed from plasterboard ceiling, it would cause damage given power needed to insert springs. Also bulbs hard to centre and level.”
