“Living in Tom Price is a real challenge at the best of times. During our wet season which is mid November to March the out side temps are any between 28 to 45 degrees every day with very high humidity. The house aircon during this period runs 24/7 (electricity is subsidised), inside air very dry. During our dry season we get no rain for about 6 months with the air being very dry. With having purchased my very first violin I researched this topic and found this product to be spot on. It is much smaller than the picture shows, being 30cms long and 8mm in dia. Easy instructions, but it didn't come with the Dampit humidity indicator seen on the add for it. Never mind I wrote the important numbers off the Simply for Strings add page and place it into my violin case. Highly recommend.”
