“I am very happy with the service I get when I purchase from Simply for Strings. The staff are patient and very helpful. I have marked my experience level as Beginner as I have only reached 3rd grade level on Violin. (Piano 7th grade. C ommenced when I was 6yrs old am now 86)”

“Amazing store and even better staff, when I called up to get a price to re string a violin I was greeted by Sophia, I explained to her that I was buying a second hand violin and she gave me an absolutely great insight into what I needed to look out for and what things were important to be in good condition otherwise it would simply not be worth it. After purchasing the violin I went in store and was helped to re string by another awesome chic whose name I did not catch, she did the re string for me and held a very good insightful conversation with me while she did her thing, she then gave my violin a quick polish and sold me everything I needed to be on my way. 5 stars all around”

“I have been a customer of yours in the past. I purchased a cello bow, and I am very content with the purchase. I am an elderly 'newbie' to the cello, starting when I turned 70. I have now been playing for 3 years and have elected to start studying for my exams. You were the only store that actaully had the books. Ohthers referred me to the net. I received information; I received service; I received professionalism. That is why I like Simply for Strings”

“I would like to thank the Simply for Strings team publicly, particularly Michael, Danny and Mel, for the excellent service I received during my recent visit to Brisbane with my cello. The whole experience was magnificent, with my cello coming away sounding so very much better than when he went in for his 'check-up'. New bridge, new nut, resetting of the tail-piece, strings now properly aligned, simple solution (combining as a mute) for a wolf tone, advice on strings (through the 'String Library') for next time I need new ones, plus fun browsing through cello music leading to a few purchases (for the future). I hate most 'shopping', but this was actually a real treat, well worth a special trip to Brisbane from Hervey Bay. Many thanks to all...”

“Very friendly and courteous staff. I have no clue about viloins and had only obtained one for my 10 year old daughter who is learning. Though I just came in for a string replacement, I was taught many tips and tricks on how to maintain the violin on an ongoing basis. This is a true example of going above and beyond customer expectations. You have now a faithful patron in me.”

“I ordered GEWA 16 inch Maestro Case which involved international shipping with the Simply for Strings. The staff has been most kind, courteous and knowledgeable in helping me purchase the case and I received the case without any problems. Since I was not able to visit the shop, I had to rely on the professional expertise of the staff, and they gave me the reassuring answer. My viola fit the case like a glove!!
