I bought a violin and when I barely turned a string to tune, the string popped out. Rang them for advice as I've never owned a violin before, and I was told to watch YouTube to restring it...they were not exactly overflowing with help.....

Please advertise what's available when payment is processed. The item I purchased was advertised as being available however after I had paid, SStrings emailed saying it would arrive in the next shipment. After 8 business days I had to call to find out where my order was. Item was posted by Australia post who left my order right on the door in plain view of anyone walking past my street. Was expecting more like registered post for something this valuable.

Hello I love dealing with Simply Strings but in the latest purchase, I completely misunderstood what I was purchasing. I naively imagined that the tubes were much larger and would enclose the actual shoulder rest so you can imagine I was a little disappointed when the tiny tubes arrived. I guess they are to protect the vertical screws. This upset will not deter me from using SimlyStrings in the future. I love your website and dream of buying an expensive violin in the hope that it just might improve my tone when playing. Regards Anthony

Hello Anthony, We are so sorry for the confusion around the Kun Rubber Tubing. These little replacement tubes are for the shoulder rest feet. When I received my instrument there were some issues with the tailpiece. The team were helpful and a new piece arrived by mail within 2 weeks of raising the concern.

violin, rest and rosin were great however I literally touched the peg for the E string and it unwound, then broke

As far the experience with the ship goes it was fine, unfortunately I can’t review something I haven’t received. The chair I purchased is still sitting in a warehouse 45mins from its destination. Stop asking for reviews prematurely.
