“In the past 6 months that I have used this chin rest I have had no problems whatsoever with it remaining attached to the instrument. I also very much like the shape and curvature of the chin rest, to which I have added a strad-pad for extra comfort. I am generally opposed to plastic products but I think the lightness, thereby decreased vibration absorption of this rest and overall weight of the instrument, is significant benefit enough to allow this small piece of plastic into my life.
The only problem I have had was in fitting it to my 16.5" Gliga Christian viola, because the screws within the feet of the rest are only just long enough.
Other than that, I am happy with the rest overall!”
