Eterra Skid Steer Box Grader Attachment
Description
The Eterra Box Grader isn't just for grading driveways and roads; it's your a go-to on pastures and landscapes too. Whether you're a homeowner, farmer, landscaper, or a contractor, this attachment is a game-changer.
The Box Grader comes in two different widths: 72" & 84". The four High-Carbon Alloy Steel Blades are configured with two facing forward while two face the rear, doubling your efficiency. This way you always have two blades cutting while two are spreading, allowing you to tackle tasks moving forward or in reverse. When the blades start showing some wear and tear, easily lower them for extended blade life.
Constructed from A572 Grade 50 steel, this Box Grader won't bend or flex in the slightest. The skid steer mounting plate? Reinforced for those heavy-duty jobs. And as finishing touch, no need worry about overstressing or bending the cylinder rod – the cylinder relief port has your back. No more uneven surfaces; just smooth, professional-grade work every time. This is the perfect attachment to get your grading job done.
Testimonial from the President of Eterra
"In 1994 an old timer showed me a similar design of a drag box that he used to pull behind his tractor back in the 50's to grade large fields. I built one and started using it immediately and still do to this very day. We brought this to market in 1998 in a limited basis and full production in 2002. As you can see, we have decades of experience with this attachment, and we know how it works and why it works. When you buy this product from us, you are dealing with the inventor, designer and manufacturer. It does not get much better than that."

It is an okey black only thing do not like about it is blades stick down so far so if you can not cut in ground 2 in it just leaves ridges

I wish I would have bought one that tilts. Using a grader that cut flat will not hold up to rain fall. The pot holes will come back and driveways need to be crowned.

Hi Jason, Thanks for choosing SkidSteerSolutions.com and for purchasing this Skid Steer Box Grader. Once your road is crowned, the Box Grader by Eterra should be driving on the same plane if the road is 2-Way (two lanes) and in that case the box grader is an excellent weapon against those pesky pot holes. It's definitely not meant to crown the road but instead it's designed to be an affordable but effective resurfacing tool. We hope you end up getting the use out of it that you hoped for and again, we do appreciate your business and look forward to helping you out with other attachments or accessories in the future. - Skid Steer Solutions

It does everything they said it would do. We use it to maintain over 2 miles of road on our ranch and it removes washboard ripples and keeps road smooth and level. Very Heavy Duty construction. Also works great to level hillsides and grade new passageways. Highly recommend this unit for homeowner or contractor.

I have a tracked skid steer and a 1000 ft rock driveway which is well compacted but gets torn up by trucks during my construction, leaving a washboard, rutted surface. The box grader works great leveling out the washboard and filling in the ruts on the driveway. My experience with it is that, as long as you are working on a compacted surface, it does a very good job. However, on a soft surface it tends to follow the changes in attitude of the skid steer and, because of the long lever arm, really accentuate the imperfections of the surface rather than smooth them out. It is best to drag a bucket over the surface first to even things out and use the box grader to fill in any ruts left behind. It also works best to use the box grader in the forward direction so your wheels/tracks are running on the leveled ground on the first pass (seems obvious but dragging the box grader in reverse is enticing because you can see the material building up on the blades a bit better and the how well graded the result is instead of having the finished surface under and behind you).

I like the weight of the attachment. It's heavy enough to grade a road that is really packed and hasn't been worked in years. Four to six passes does the trick.
