Quality Chain Skid Steer Tire Chains - 2 Link | 1 Pair (2 Chains)
Description
Tire chains are a game-changer for skid steers operating in challenging winter conditions or on loose, slippery surfaces. These chains provide enhanced traction, allowing your skid steer to navigate through snow, ice, mud, and other slick terrains with ease. This improved grip not only ensures stable and controlled movement but also significantly boosts productivity by reducing downtime caused by poor weather conditions. With tire chains, your skid steer remains operational, maintaining efficiency and reliability no matter the season.
Quality Chain Skid Steer Tire Chains are designed specifically to make travel across snow and other loose, slippery conditions easier. Each pair fits 10", 12", and 14" tires, ensuring versatility for different skid steer models. These chains feature a 2-link version, meaning there are cross chains every 2 links of the main chain, which provides a higher density of cross chains compared to the 4-link version. This design enhances traction and durability, offering superior performance on slippery surfaces. Made from high tensile alloy steel with 8mm (5/16") square link cross chains, these chains last longer, wear better, and are stronger than cheaper round link versions. Unlike generic car chains that happen to fit skid steer tires, Quality Chain designs chains specifically for skid steer loaders, ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, all tire chain purchases include a 6-arm tire spider bungee for added security.

A bit of work to get them fit as always. Recommend some 24" bolt cutters to make the job easier. Some 5/16 and/or 3/8 quick links can help especially on the inside if you have tight fit and need to clear the inside against the skid steer. The square links really bite in the ice. I have no rust after a couple of months on the tractor. These are heavy duty and work really well. You can find cheap chains for 1/2 the price but in my observation they tear up very quick. I think these will go several seasons and not let you down.

Chains were bought for a specific size tire but still had to be cut to fit. They were too long. Customers should be warned. Chain quality is great for price. Thank you.

The chains were sent to the wrong address. After I didn't receive the chains for sometime skid steer solutions lied to me about the address the chains were sent to. Thankfully the address didn't exist and the Post Office held the chains, had they not I'd be out $800 with not much recourse.
