Quality Chain Skid Steer Tire Chains - 2 Link | 1 Pair (2 Chains)
Description
Tire chains are a game-changer for skid steers operating in challenging winter conditions or on loose, slippery surfaces. These chains provide enhanced traction, allowing your skid steer to navigate through snow, ice, mud, and other slick terrains with ease. This improved grip not only ensures stable and controlled movement but also significantly boosts productivity by reducing downtime caused by poor weather conditions. With tire chains, your skid steer remains operational, maintaining efficiency and reliability no matter the season.
Quality Chain Skid Steer Tire Chains are designed specifically to make travel across snow and other loose, slippery conditions easier. Each pair fits 10", 12", and 14" tires, ensuring versatility for different skid steer models. These chains feature a 2-link version, meaning there are cross chains every 2 links of the main chain, which provides a higher density of cross chains compared to the 4-link version. This design enhances traction and durability, offering superior performance on slippery surfaces. Made from high tensile alloy steel with 8mm (5/16") square link cross chains, these chains last longer, wear better, and are stronger than cheaper round link versions. Unlike generic car chains that happen to fit skid steer tires, Quality Chain designs chains specifically for skid steer loaders, ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, all tire chain purchases include a 6-arm tire spider bungee for added security.

What an awesome company to work with. Quick shipping and great customer service. For my New Holland L553, I went with the wheel spacers just to give a little more clearance. Another great machined part that was a perfect fit. During my chain installation I got a little carried away tightening. I ended up breaking off one side connecting link. I correspond with Austin and he not only had a replacement sent out, but also a spare. All in a very short period. Thank you skid steer solutions Mark

The product came quick, luckily not a lot of snow here so I haven't had a chance to use them yet.

I am responsible for maintaining a steep 1 kilometer road. I have to chain all four wheels of my skid steer to do it. I had the 2 link chains from Skid Steer Solutions on my front wheels and some “heavy duty” chains from another company that uses cams to tighten the chain. The rear chains came off on occasion and the connecting link would get bent up requiring a hammer and vise to get them up and running again. Not the chains from Skid Steer Solutions. They stayed secure throughout the winter and are substantially more robust in design and construction. I am strongly considering the purchase of a second pair for this next winter.

The two link skid steer tire chains work great. I have used then several times in the past two weeks. They are very heavy duty and of excellent construction. My thanks go out to Roy in the SSS shipping department for the excellent customer service and follow-up. My shipment experienced a major delay due to issues related to the carrier and not the fault of SSS. However Roy stayed on the case until my complete shipment was received! Excellent customer service and follow thru!

I thought that I ordered the correct size, 10x16.5 but the chains I got were quite a bit too long. But I made it work.
