“Skin feels clean but since I used it I get a lot of breakouts and I’m not sure why”

Thank you for taking the time to review our products. The initial break outs you are experiencing is your skins way of acclimatising to the new product. If there is any congestion ready to come out the new product will encourage it to the surface. I understand this is frustrating however it means the product is working. Please make sure you are cleansing the skin twice in the evening. The first cleanse is to remove any superficial dirt/makeup/sebum that has collected on the skin throughout the day. “I’m now on my second bottle of this cleanser and am really seeing the benefits. My skin has been so much softer and clearer since using it. You need to persevere with the useage and also make sure to use a serum with Hyaluronic Acid, before you moisturise after, to counteract any dryness.”

“Bought this cleanser and two other products for my son who has suffered with acne since his late teens after trying all manner of lotions and potions recommended in the press and in stores to no avail. However I am thrilled to say that the results achieved after only a month's use of Medik8 Beta Cleanse and beta Gel are amazing. He still gets a few spots but they are shorter lived and not as inflamed, large and noticeable which has done much for his confidence. He is also using Phyto-corrective from SkinCeuticals to soothe and hydrate his sensitive skin. I would certainly recommend these products. Many thanks.”
