“Really does block the light and the material is very nice and breathable. I am using our small box fan (which doubles as a sound machine) within the tent and it’s perfect. We use this with our guava family lotus travel crib which has a unzippable side so you can lay by your baby or toddlers side. At this age (20mo) the half zip opening of the slumber pod works well with it, but with baby number two I’m sure it will be a little more difficult to use that feature of my crib, for that reason I subtracted 1 star. Overall very pleased with this purchase!”
“We tried using it but even with all the vents open and a fan running, the slumberpod was way too hot for our baby! She was sweating so bad! We sadly had to return it.”
“This is well made, super soft, and completely black out. I kept it up for a few weeks for my toddler to read and play in to get used to it. The air vents are nice too. We haven't used it for. strip yet but have set it up over the pack n play for my little guy to check out and it seems like it will be a great set up for travel-room sharing.”
“We have three little girls. We are grandparents of three one year old grand daughters. They all come to our house and the pod works great. They all have had good sleeps as advertised. We have another baby on the way and may be back for more. The putting up and taking down is quite simple. We store it back in the original packaging in a small space ready for the next babies visit. Thanks for the great idea and making it possible.”
“Our 8 month old quickly adjusted to the SlumberPod and was able to quickly get to sleep. My wife and I were able to hang out and talk with the lights on in the room thanks to the SlumberPod and our white noise machine. Would highly recommend!”
“I purchased the SlumberPod to travel with my baby. She's easily distracted and I know that she would not be able to sleep in a room where lights are still creeping in through the blinds. She was able to take her normal naps and sleep at night during the trip!I used the Guava travel crib and the SlumberPod fit over it well. However, I would like the option for the zipper to open all the way to the floor or for the SlumberPod to be slightly wider so I could step into it as well while putting baby into her travel crib. The Guava has an opening on the side that you could put baby in from. I'm fairly short (5'2") so it was difficult for me to bend over the top of the crib to put baby in. I was able to stretch the material of the SlumberPod to create a bit of space to squeeze in and put baby in from the side, but it wasn't the easiest to do. Would definitely prefer a side that could fully open or more space.”
