“The slumberpod is a game changer. At our family cabin all 3 of us sleep in the same room. Our baby goes to bed at 7:30pm so being able to sneak into the room later and not disturb her is a game changer. She seems to love it too!”
“We loved our slumber pod! We stayed in a hotel with our 1 year old and 3 year old. We were able to put the one year old in the pack n play and slumber pod in the bathroom and have a lovely evening while she got the rest she needed. It was a life saver!!! Highly recommend! I was worried about the temperature and being too hot inside, but it was chilly in the room and the temperature was perfect. Breathing wasn't an issue at all either.”
“We purchased this for a recent family trip. It was very simple to set up and the quality of the fabric felt really nice. After our daughter fell asleep the first night, she slept her full 11 hours. She fought it the first night, but I think that was a combination of being in a new environment, over-stimulation and the Slumberpod being darker than her normal environment. For the next few days, naps and nighttime were a breeze. It was 100% blackout, as promised. My husband and I were able to turn on the lights and move around the room as needed without disturbing our daughter. My only real complaint is about the pouch for the monitor. It is extremely large, which makes it difficult to place the monitor and it is a very reflective plastic material, so you have to cover any lights put off by the monitor. It took me over an hour to get the monitor placed so that I could even see anything and even then I could only see half the pack n' play. I was unable to use our Owlet monitor and had to use our super cheap backup one that doesn't offer the best video quality. I ended up having to use a clip to hold some of the extra plastic to position the monitor tightly against the pouch. The monitor pouch might be better suited on the top of the Slumberpod, so gravity could hold it against the plastic or other material and offer a wider range of vision. Or there could be straps, so you could secure the monitor without the need for plastic. That could also help prevent the monitors from getting hot from being in the enclosed space. I was setting this up in a decent sized area, but I think this would be difficult in a small space, like a bathroom. The rods are really long and I don't think you would be able to connect them as you go. Overall, I think this was a great purchase and I look forward to seeing future improvements in the design. I just hope when version 2.0 comes out, they offer a trade in program for the first generation users that had issues.”
“Exactly what I expected based on all of the review I have seen. High quality and easy to set up. My little one has been sleeping great in our room now and this has made it so I didn't have to install black-out curtains in our bedroom before she moves into her own space.One note of constructive criticism I have is the product does arrive with an odor - not sure if the material is treated with some sort of chemical or something but I did let it air out/ off gas for a few days prior to use. Not sure if there is a way to prevent this for future orders.”
“We bought this for our toddler (2.5 yo) who will ONLY sleep in her bed in the dark. We use a toddler air mattress with the Slumberpod and she has slept amazingly well. We love that we can be in the same room and watch tv after she’s gone to sleep knowing she won’t be woken up by the light. Our only issue so far has been she has been able to climb out of the tent by slipping out underneath since there is no bottom. But with some firm rules, she’s learned she’s not allowed to climb out.”
