We have used the SlumberPod for three separate trips now. “This thing solved so many problems for when we travel. We put our 9 month old in the brightest room possible when visiting family, and used this. He slept great!!! It was so dark when the Slumberpod was over his play yard. The only downfall is the monitor pouch. Maybe if we had a different kind of monitor it would work better, but the clear plastic basically shields the camera from really getting any good "picture" on our monitor. So we really only could use it for the sound, and not the video. It is a good idea in theory, just doesn't work with our monitor (Motorola 5" Portable Video Baby Monitor - MBP36XL)”
“I ordered the SlumberPod for my 4-month old babe to sleep in and it works WONDERS. She is currently sleeping in our bedroom in her SNOO and we don’t plan to move her to her own room until she is 6 months old... her room has blackout shades and curtains, but our bedroom does not. We have high windows in our room and I prefer to have natural sunlight in the morning, so I opted for the SlumberPod rather than investing in blackout curtains that we would only use for a couple of months - I love that we will be able to use the pod while traveling and camping too! Her naps are now longer, she falls asleep faster AND sleeps in later in the morning - apparently darkness really does matter! Worth every penny.”
