“If you are hesitant on the SlumberPod, do you really need it? Yes yes you do. Our daughter (8mo) is very picky about complete darkness. She slept 12 hours overnight and had her usual (1-2 hour) naps in the pod. I would suggest letting them do a night in the pod at home to get used to it. Before letting them sleep in a new space with it. Our daughter took a while to fall asleep, likely because she was unsure where she was. But once she fell asleep she was out for the night. The poles are quite long so you need to have a bit of space to set it up. The temperature on our monitor (VTech) read 28 but by husband took the temperature with a laser reader and it was 23.5. So the temperature on the monitor can’t be relied upon I found. I love the SlumberPod and I am very very happy we made the investment.”
You're so sweet, Sarah! Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us such a great review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your little one got use to the SlumberPod and it slept great!
“Such a helpful product to room share while traveling. I was able to put my baby in the travel crib with slumberPod over it for naps and bedtime while I was in the same room with lights on. It creates a completely pitch black environment and a visual barrier between you and your child so they can sleep without distraction. Setup was relatively easy. We did practice setting it up prior to the trip. It was a no brainer. It is definitely a worthwhile investment.”
“Got the slumberpod for my 2.5 year old for a trip we were going on and had to share a hotel room. Fit perfectly in our 4moms playpen carrying case so no extra luggage and super light. Super easy and quick assembly. Our son was super excited to sleep in and slept great. It gets pitch black inside which is amazing. Our little guy sleeps with a night light so we did end up leaving one side open that faced away from us and didn't seem to bother his sleep. The slot for the monitor is perfect and we could see him clearly. Can't say a single thing bad about the product. Highly recommend!”
We love that you love us, Heather M! Thank you for taking the time to review us! We're happy to hear it helped your little one sleep great while sharing a room! We look forward to helping you again!
“This is a great product! It allows for a cozy, dark space for baby to sleep while sharing a room. I love that I don’t need to worry about shutting off the lights after baby goes to sleep. I can carry on with my evening! This has already, and will continue to make travel with baby so much easier! Thank you!”
“We used in a hotel room with dim lights on and baby slept thru! Love the pocket for sound machine. Only minor thing is I wished the zipper unzipped all the way to the bottom to accommodate travel cribs that zip on the side”
“we recently bought this last minute for our trip to Europe. The customer service was amazing at ensuring we received our package before our trip and was quick to respond to all my questions. I was skeptical on how a $200 tent could be worth it but after reading many reviews I thought it was worth a try. Let me tell you this is hands down one of the BEST baby products we own! Now it’s not the easiest to set up, the first time it took both of us to get the ends in and for $200 I would have expected it to be easier. But by the end we could set it up quickly and with just one of us doing it - note it is a tent so you need room for the polls when putting it together. We brought our 7 month old son to Europe and there is no way we would have been able to sleep soundly without it. We were able to put him in bed and hang out in the room with the lights off for hours past his bedtime. There is also a pocket in the top to put in a camera so you can see them sleeping which we didn’t know about before purchasing and I haven’t tried it yet so I can’t comment on how it works; we used it for our portable sound machine. If you are humming and hawing like me trying to decide whether or not to get it, just DO IT!! You will not regret it.”
