“There was a very strong chemical smell on the tent since arrival so we couldn’t immediately use it. After airing outside and running through the washing machine, the smell is gone. Design wise I’m looking forward to using it but wish there were some toggles for tying up the zipper flap so that I wouldn’t need to do up a noisy zipper in the night.”
HI Hayley! Please note that the smell is a result of the logo not curing before being packaged and that it's completely non-toxic! It's happened in less than 50 in the thousands we've sold! We're glad the smell went away quickly for you!
“We bought two pods for a vacation in mexico, this was in lieu of doing a room upgrade. Pods served us very vey well and totally worth it! They are compact, easy to put together and the twins loved being in them. We loved them because it created a bubble and we didn't have to tip toe around the room! Coming home and re-adjusting to sleep without the pod was perhaps the hardest thing - too bad they don't fit over our cribs!”
“A friend recommended the slumberpod for my trip with my 8-month old son. We were only getting one hotel room and she suggested the slumberpod as a way to create a separate sleep environment for the baby while my husband and I still hung out in the room. It was great. Fairly easy to put together and fit in my carryon suitcase. My one complaint is that the clear plastic window material is not the best for putting your monitor in and actually seeing the baby. For future trips, I plan to bring a portable monitor arm to attached to the pack-n-play and then the slumberpod would go over it.”
