“We were a little wary of this product because we've tried many of these products that advertise that they are blackout shades, but this is the only one that is really, really blacked out! Our little one is sensitive to light, so this was important to us. The tall height is also great for a less claustrophobic feel. The fabric is exceptional and the tabs at the bottom really help to block out any excess light creeping in.”
“We actually bought this because our baby had been refusing to be put down for naps and we were desperate and thought we would try out total darkness to see if that helped. Using this, she can finally nap on her own again, and she even sleeps longer than she used to. Will be great for travel too. No more putting the pack-n-play in a bathroom or big closet! “We live in a 1 bedroom apartment that is the first floor of a multiunit house. This baby was a big surprise, and I always imagined I would bring my baby home to a “real house” so not even having a closed off room seemed like a nightmare. After 3.5 months we decided it was time to move the baby from our bedroom into our entryway which we designated as our baby space. We bought the slumberpod and let it air out for a few days (my only complaint is that it had a strong plasticy smell that gave me a headache but after airing it out for 2 nights it was gone) and transitioned our baby! For two nights we had 1 wake up/night but since then, our baby has slept ~12 hours overnight consistently and takes amazing naps that we usually have to wake him from. We are going 3 weeks of amazing sleep in the slumberpod. While he sleeps, we are able to have lights on and clean up the house without disturbing him at all.”
