“The SlumerPod is pure magic! My husband and I were so afraid to travel with our daughter. She is such a good sleeper at home, a picky sleeper, but a great sleeper at home, in the darkness, in her crib. My husband and I really needed a getaway, and were so reluctant to go. Then, we finally decided to order the SlumberPod, just to see. The first night, we set it up with ease, using the video link sent with the instructions. We both looked a each other, set our little girl down, zipped it up and walked out the room. She slept the ENTIRE night, and has slept for all her naps and nights like a princess. It has made traveling so enjoyable. Oh! And did I mention the pocket for the baby cam fits any kind of camera, and we are able to position it to see her during the night! Thank you SlumberPod for making traveling so much better!!!!!!”
“Perfect for room sharing and not have to creep in the dark! Felt like we got our room back. Also, my home office is also where baby naps sometimes and I'm still able to use my office–full lights and all while sharing it with napping baby.”
“I have a great sleeper at home, but it needs to be dark, especially for naps. I purchased the slumberpod bc we would be sharing a room while staying with my mom for spring break. Not only is my babe sleeping well at night, but he's taking great naps too! It's so nice to know we're not going to wake him if we have to turn on the light to get ready for bed. It's so dark, and it stays nice and cool. I have a Bluetooth Thermometer in the slumberpod between the pod and pack n play (bought on Amazon) and it stays around 69 inside, even with the flaps closed.Seriously, just buy it!”
“I’ve only use this for one weekend trip to my in-laws so I don’t have a ton of experience with it yet but it does do a magical job at blocking light.A lot of light floods into the room we stay in at their house in the morning and there is no way my kid would have napped without it.A couple things...I did find that my kid was like WTF is this at first — I imagine that will go away with more frequent use. I tend to put her down sleepy and found myself wishing the opening was square (to make it easier to duck through while carrying a child.) I know this product was based on a tent so that may just be the way that it is . But in the same thread I wish that there was the possibility of Velcroing or buttoning the flap shut as well because my kid is a relatively light sleeper and she would wake up to the sound of the zipper being shut and goes back to “WTF is this” so I just ended up leaving it open to be honest and facing the back of the pod toward the window. Overall I mean I don’t think you are going to find anything better on the market and it seems extremely well made — Square opening and a way to silently close the opening would make it perfect”
“We set it up to test it out and amazed that it completely blacks out light and dampens sound. I can see why it is advised to use a fan as it gets warm quickly. Love the spot at the top for a baby monitor. It looks like a great product can't wait to use it.”
“Used this for the first time this weekend at the beach and so glad I made the purchase! Had been caught up on the price for a long time but decided to give it a try so we don’t always have to pay extra for larger hotel rooms/rental homes when we travel. Although it doesn’t block out sound I was able to slide my sound machine inside and under the bed and baby monitor. Baby slept so good for night and all naps! I was having to wake him up! Comes in a small bag easy to travel with and set up. My toddler even loved the idea of a tent and she wanted to sleep in it even though I got it for baby. Definitely recommend!”
“We've thought about purchasing the Slumberpod in the past, but finally decided to go for it for a trip that would involve 4 nights in a hotel room with our 21 month old. He is a great sleeper, but he loves his routine and really needs his own space. As he's gotten older, it's become much harder to share a room with him without him waking in the night and calling for us, which rarely happens otherwise. We ordered the Slumberpod hoping it would solve this problem and make our trip a bit more enjoyable for everyone, and we are so happy we did. It's easy to set up and ensures a totally dark environment without the blackout curtains we usually travel with. We use it with the Lotus travel crib and there is room to tuck the white noise machine inside in the corner. We practiced with it for a couple nights at home, since it was new and different. This allowed my son to get over the unfamiliarity at home, rather than on vacation, making it easier once we got to the hotel. Would definitely recommend if your little one likes routine as much as ours does :).”
“The first one I bought for family travels and room sharing. We loved it. WE room shared with our baby for one month and it saved us. Even my husband that was on the fence about buying it, now wants to take it to every single outing we do to family or friends house. We just got a second one for daycare, as their room is not very dark. She has been sleeping so much better.”
