“We just used the slumber pod with fan + SlumberTot mattress on our vacation for our two year old and we loved it.
Only user-error issue we had is you have to make sure the slumber pod is tightly wrapped around the mattress as our son was an escape artist one night. After we adjusted it, he did still attempt but was not successful.
We loved that we could use our owlet monitor in the top netted section and be able to see him well.
The fan was also so great, as I didn’t have to worry about him overheating.
10/10 would recommend to parents who may have to room share on vacation when their kid isn’t used to it. Or if you’re worried since you don’t have blackout curtains - because it is DARK inside.

“The Slumber Tot mattress worked very well for our two and a half year old grandson on a recent vacation. He was not a fan of the Slumber Pod quite yet to sleep in. He did want to play in it though. We will see next time if he will want to add the SlumberPod to his SlumberTot mattress. We think this will be an adjustment for him. We did not "practice" first, which most likely would have helped.”
