“This unit appears defective. The fan blades bind against a black metal ring on the bottom of the unit which stops the motor from spinning. I have mounted and remounted the fan several times making sure to follow the directions exactly. When totally assembled, the light works perfectly but I cannot get the fan to work without loosening the mounting bolts. I would like authorization and instructions on how to send this fan back and exchange it for a new unit.”
