We apologize for the inaccurate description. The fan you purchased has a black motor and dark wood blades. We will investigate this issue and make the necessary corrections. We will send you an email shortly, and you can exchange the product for another one without paying the shipping cost.

“Very quiet fan unless it's on full blast. When on full blast the noise is from the amount of air being moved and not from the motor. Just turns into background noise after a few minutes. My room is roughly 14'x16' and I find that setting the fan on 5-6 is plenty comfortable when 10 is the max. Had to drill a hole in the remote holder to mount it on a multi-gang face plate, but no real complaint. Wireless setup to Google Home was easy. The unit has White light LEDs and Yellow LIGHT LEDs. The White LEDs don't fill the room as much as I was expecting, but the Yellow LEDs fill the room with no problem. When White and Yellow are on at the same time you can't tell the Whites are on. Thought the fan blades would be black but are more of a dark brown with a wood pattern. I know these above sounds like complaints, but they are all very minor and I am very happy with this fan.”

“The fan was easy to install and set up. The only downside I can see so far, and I may be able to overcome this with some investigation on my side, is the interface between the line power and the fan. The switch powers the fan on but it always just turns on the light. But the power must be on to operate the fan which is done by the remote, (God forbid that ever gets lost!) or the app. But I was able to get the fan to work with our Alexa so we just keep the fan switch on all the time and control it through her or the remote. Not a big deal and it's still a great fan at a great value.”
