“We ordered two 52" Icebreakers to go along with two other Smafans that were bought over a year ago. We already had a 56" Trailblazer and a 56" Explorer. Last summer was the hottest summer in Louisiana History with well over 30 days in a row in triple digits including the hottest day ever here in Louisiana history. We ran those two 56" fans on 10 speed all the time. So, with 3 non-Smafans type fans left in the house, we wanted to switch 2 more of them out to Smafans. We ordered the Icebreaker for both rooms and just like the others, each one of these went up in less than an hour, which counts the removal time of the two existing, wobbly, poor air movement Hunter fans. One Hunter was only a year old, the other...maybe 3 years old. We used a extension rod with one room since it was a 10' ceiling. Cool thing is, these came with a short and a long rod, so we didn't have to buy an extension rod. Both remotes and the Android App synced up first try. No problems...just clean up the boxes and put up the ladder. Once again (just like the other 2 previous orders), Hugo at Smafan was there with a quickly returned email, with a answer to a question and also to offer tips. I dont mean that I got an answer the next couple of days, but I mean, in an hour, or hours, or a day at the most. No one at any company that I have bought from in my 63 yrs has ever consistently responded to inquiries as quickly as they do. Keep in mind, this is my 3rd experience with the same personal treatment. One of the ones I ordered last year, I messed up and ordered the wrong color. Hugo worked out a quick return and reshipment of the correct color, quickly without giving me any trouble. We are 100% happy with all 4 of our Smafans! I am not a fake reviewer either, just a pleased buyer that would like to pay them back for how they have treated me. For instance, there are 2 outdoor fans I bought 3 years ago for the porch. They wobble unmercibly. No balancing or anything will improve them, and YES all the troubleshooting has been done. These are Harbor Breeze. I contacted them and all I got was the same troubleshooting advice I already knew. Im stuck with them and they were not cheap. So, that is your difference. Smafan will help you resolve an issue whether you screwed up or they did. That kind of treatment is hard to get anymore! I'll buy again from them, you can count on it!!”
