“The Ranger is a beautiful contemporary-style indoor fan. I chose the black version, which only describes the color of the blades. The body housing has an elegant silver satin finish. The light is LED and plenty bright. Everything screams high quality and durability. The fan includes a smart wall switch that can be bought standalone for $29. It can toggle (not dim) the light, toggle fan power, and lets you select 3 fan speeds. The switch is also WiFi-enabled and is part of the Tuya ecosystem, which means if you're already using any branded Tuya apps, like Smart Life or Carro, you can pair this fan with your current app. The pairing process was straightforward, requiring the app be given the "nearby devices" permission (on Android). Once paired, you can also connect the app with either Google Assistant or Alexa for more integration. For me, I mainly use the open-sourced Home Assistant as my home automation platform, and this fan integrates nicely via the Tuya integration. Overall, I am more than pleased with the Ranger, and plan to purchase 3 more.”
