“I was replacing an older model 16.5 --- 21M314, that was no longer available for my snowblower. Ordered this 1650 Series Snow engine as a possible replacement. Knowing that the shaft diameter and shaft height were different than my 21M, it turned out that mounting bolt spacing and front plate spacing were also different than the original engine. But after re drilling holes to match the new engine, it bolted in and lined up perfectly. Put a sleeve on the shaft with new keyway, to go from 3/4 to 1 inch, to accomadate my pulley, and found longer belts that worked with the higher shaft height. Engine started immediately and effortlessly. Runs perfectly, and a big improvement over the old engine”
