Just finished installation in a 1987 316 with original Onan P engine in original condition. Engine arrived without damage but it had shifted in the box a bit during transit because it was not secured inside (might be something to consider. Mounting hole fit was exact without any margin for shifting which is great as it looks to have lined up properly with drive shaft and belt position. I am not a big fan of the throttle cable as I had to drill/cut holes for it to mount on dash. It does function properly but it definitely has that universal feel to it. The clutch wire was difficult to connect due to short length, but it worked. The engine wire harness was a nice touch! The right side panel was a little tough to put back on due to the alignment of the exhaust pipe, I will likely cut down a little on the front tab where it connects to the hood supports. It is great that there were no real modifications required for install! The engine fired up quickly and easily and the first run was excellent! This has breathed new life into the old tractor!!
