“The engine was packed well to keep it free from damage during shipping. Once installed, it started right up without any issues. I shut the fuel valve off and run it out of gas if not using it for a week or more, the engine ususally starts on the second pull. The one inch diameter portion of the tapered crankshaft was 3/8" longer than the old Tecumseh engine it replaced but this was overcome with the use of the original spacer and additional 1/4" thick spacers between the engine block and impeller housing of the leaf vacuum. I also utilized bolts that were 1/4" longer. The impeller housing and engine base both bolted up to the engine block without any modifications. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and the customer service of SEW.”
