My experience with these countries was excellent. This was my second tour with SmarTours. I liked very much Lithuania with no car traffic, and not too many tourists. The hotels were very good, some need to mopped their floors... I had to ask. The food was very good, and the tour manager, Stephen was excellent. I liked very much his suggestions, and he gaved me the right directions to take an optional by myself. It was so good that I did it twice. Many things to see, and many art sculptures, etc. to take photos. Also many beautiful places, and things to buy. I love photography, and I found lots of opportunities for taking them, and videos. I liked the music, and there were artists everywhere. The only problem I got was when got home, I had a teak in my tight probably from the Open Air Museum. I had to deal with lyme disease, 14 days on antibiotics, and probiotics. So be careful, and check yourself when you walk. I really recommend this excursion, very beautiful! I even bought a sculpture that I am enjoying it every day at home. I loved that I could sleep a little more than in other excursions...some time we went out at 9 a.m. which is perfect when on vacations. Thanks again to Stephan, and the well-planned excursions. I even enjoyed the Music Festival in Estonia, we were lucky!

Very good experience. I liked very much that we could sleep a little bit, not rushing in the morning. The 9 a.m. departures were my favorite. We had plenty of time for everything. I loved that I could do the optional in my own time and very cheap compared to the price on the list. I enjoyed every place, and took many photos. Stephan, our tour manager was very nice. His suggestions were excellent. The only problem I had was that I found a teak in my tight when I came home, and I had lyme disease...so be careful when you walk through the open Museum in Estonia. I probably caught it there. I went to Emergency, and had to take antibiotics, and probiotics for 14 days, and go to a specialist. I liked the hotels very much, they were in the center of town, very important, and that we got to be in a Music Festival. My favorite was Lithuania since the car traffic was so light, and not that many tourists as in Estonia. It was a surprise when I arrive, we were only 11 persons. I don't really like small groups, I like to meet more people. Food was very good, too. I recommend this tour. I also got beautiful buys, even a sculpture from Estonia which I love.

Excellent tour as always when we travel with Smar Tours. The guide was fantastic, the accomodations were good, and a nifty experience in the Baltic States. We would recommend this tour to all. Joanne and Frank Kollar

Our recent trip to the Baltics + Berlin was our first with SmarTours. We've done several with other groups. We took the land package only because we wanted to go to Vilnius, Lithuania early and stay in Berlin longer so we can't comment on the travel part of the trip. The two tour guides, one in the Baltics and one in Berlin, were both very knowledgable, able organizers, quite accessible and helpful with information on sights not covered in depth by the tour but possible to see during free afternoons. The small size of the group was a real plus - not having listening devices would not have worked had the group been larger. The hotels were just fine and very well located in all four cities - that was a very big plus. We would have liked more time in all the towns, but particularly in Tellinn, Estonia, because there's much to see and do beyond the 1 day stay. We liked that there was ample free time in each place to explore on your own and go to museums and galleries that a tour can't include. Two of the four dinners provided on the tour were very good, the other two were mediocre. On the whole, we'd definitely recommend SmarTours and hope to take another tour with them.
