“Trip exceeded expectations. Granville brought the tour to the next level, he was really good. Nina was very knowledgeable of history of the ruins. The group was so nice and got alone very well. Good value for the money. These was my 2nd tour with Smartours, I highly recommend them.”

“Just returned from my 11day trip to Greece with Smartours. An absolutely incredible journey. Our tour guides Gramville & Nina were so knowledgeable. Gramville’s enthusiasm was contagious. I wish I had paid more attention in my my history & mythology classes. Trip was jam packed with so many amazing sites, our guides made history come to life....my only downfall was that I was physically unable (due to knee issues) to do every climb to the top. I would definitely recommend Smartours.”

“I just returned from my fabulous Greece tour 9/24/19 with Granville and Nina!!! Granville met us at the airport with the biggest smile, and was so personable. He made the tour so special by giving us walking tours filled with knowledge, and his love for Greece. He touched my heart with his stories, and history of Greece. Granville was always accessible to us, and treated us like his little chicks, which was very much appreciated, and reassuring. Nina was also great with a wealth of knowledge, and warmth. She answered our questions, and made herself available to us. Thank you Granville, and Nina for making my trip to Greece unforgettable. We had the best driver Babis, he handled the bus with such expertise. This was my second trip with SmarTours, the first to South Africa. SmarTours does a great job with their tour guides they make the trip!!! Again, thanks Granville and Nina you guys are the greatest!”

“All of us on the tour talked about the fast pace and intensity but, to be fair, it was needed to cover all that the tour provides. Both tour directors were knowledgeable and very organized. SmarTours could consider adding a couple of days on the island tour to allow more time to explore the islands (an overnight on one of the islands?). We must add a note that Granville's love of Greece and stories brought the islands to life in a special way. Thank you, Granville! This was our first tour - we always go it alone - but the tour has added much depth and many new friends to our traveling experiences. We will definitely go with SmarTours again!”

“Hands down my favorite tour, Granville was awesome. He made the tour come alive with all of his knowledge and showmanship. He gave each and everyone his attention like we were there along. He was very patient and kind to everyone even the group of six women who disrupted the whole tour from day 1 to the end. My hat off to Granville for staying professional with them the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour.”

“Our Greece tour 8/24-9/2/19 was fantastic! Granville and Martina were Great and very knowledgeable guides who brought Greece present and past to life with passion! They both conducted themselves very professionally,given there a group of 8 women in our group who constantly talked,were rude, constantly complaining and LATE,impeding the group from leaving or starting on time! Do to the fact that they had poor listening skills,information covered by our guides, was asked over again by aleast one or two of the ladies. The constant confusion they brought, made our trip unbearable at times. There should be some type of process to address situation of this type, given we all paid to have an enjoyable trip and tours. They were constantly complaining about the walking and heat ect. Nevertheless,given the circumstances both of our guides, were very tolerant as well as being professional in addressing their,more so than I would have!!! Granville and Martina were very pateince with us all and fabulous guides. This was my family 3rd SmarTour and planning our 4th. Thanks again, Granville and Martina for a Spectacular Greek Tout”

“The trip was really spectacular. I had a wonderful time with my family and friends. Met some really nice folks in our group. Our tour guides Granville and Nina was so prideful in showing off their country. They brought all the history to their native to light. All the fascinating mythology was now becoming a reality. Absolutely wonderful experience overall. Negatives; Traveling as a family it was really hard we were scattered throughout the cabin. I think Smartours should put some efforts to having families together especially on these long journeys. The ship was less than I am use to, and I take an annual cruise. We were placed in the bottom of the ship and the engine noise was constant. The ship staff was lovely though, that was the best part of the ship experience.”

“Great time, learned a lot- Our 2 Tour Directors Granville and Nina made Greek History come alive. We ha enough down time and enjoyed every minute. The optional tours were worth it and should not be missed. This is my second SmarTour trip and will do it again”
