“I was recently able to purchase a set of riptides in the prescription I needed, only to have the order cancelled because they were unable to accommodate it in prescription department. If you have a high power script, be wary of what the website says is possible for the frame and lens. Smith needs to update their online ordering to prevent issues like this in the future.”
“I have been a longtime supporter of Smith. I carried them in my Surf shop for over 20+years. Closed my shop in 2019. Still buying them at retail(no more bro deals). The Riptide is the best fitting frame to date. Prior to this, it was the Oulier XL. I was worried I would never find something similar. Fit is better with the Riptide, just not as much coverage as the Outlier XL lenses. Very stoked with these frames. Will buy again with my rx in a sunglasses blue mirror lense”
