“I love Smith Optics - but the Guide's Choice XL glasses I recently purchased just don't work for me, when wear a hat. The ear pieces can't quite stay on the rear band of my hat when fishing. They are also to large to fit under my hat, so I have struggled using these without fatigue.”
“I picked glass lenses for the first time. Blue chromapop are great, but way different from the bronze chromapop+ I own in regular Guides Choice. Bronze lense emphasizes on a rainy day were as the blue is too dark for that.
If I am perspiring and lean over, it feels like they may fall off due to heavier weight of glass lenses. Working around water I may install the integrated croaky/ leash for piece or mind.
The new semi hard cases are a bit more difficult to open one handed as there are more angles than the previous version.
Would recommend, might keep them in vehicle for sunny driving shades.
