What features did you like?
Functionality, Quality
“I bought these glasses because the majority of sunglasses come in a frame that does not look all that great on my face. I prefer a large frame to cover my eyes as much as possible. When I got the email for these glasses, I thought the XL would be perfect and I have been buying Smith glasses for years now, so I know I will be buying a pair of quality glasses.
For the fit, they do have some issues. If I want them to fit my face, the arms have to sit high above my ears. If you're wearing a hat, that wont be an issue, since the arms will sit snug inside the hat, on the side of your head. If you're not wearing a hat, well, they may slide down to rest on your ears, which for most, it may not be an issue. But for me, when that happens, the front frame of the glasses rest on my brow, which does not allow air to flow easily. Not a huge issue, but one to be aware of since they will sit pretty low on your cheeks.
The tint on the glass itself isn't as dark as I thought, the website photos make it look darker. Again, not too big of an issue, but when I first opened the package, I had to check to see if they sent out the right item since what I had in hand, and what was on the website didn't really match up. Photo resolutions on websites can be tricky.
Other than that, I am pretty stoked on these glasses. Next test is to see if these float.”
