“After 2 weeks of use, they are comfortable after long periods of time. The lens clarity is the best I've ever had. I got the Tortoise frames with ChromaPop Glass Polarized Green Mirror Lens. My only complaint is the slipping that occurs when sweat begins to form around my nose. The frames instantly lose grip, and will not stay in place against the slightest bit of moisture. Unfortunately this pair was purchased as a replacement of another pair that failed under warranty and not eligible for return. These shades will be limited to casual use and fishing in the cooler months when sweat is not a problem. Disappointed to say the least.”

“I am on my 2nd pair of Guides Choice XL. I love the clarity of the lenses. I love the option of having glass lenses over plastic. I don't notice the weight difference, and the increased scratch resistance is invaluable as a person who is hard on their belongings. As someone who spends much time on the water, the polarization is something I cannot live without.”

“These are the best frames/lenses I’ve ever owned, period. I’m on the water almost daily and I’ve used about every brand you could imagine. I started using Smith around 5 years ago and each pair is only more phenomenal than the last. I have to say though, the Guide’s Choice XL fits my fat melon perfectly and it feels as if I’ve been wearing polycarbonate all damn day. The chroma pop glass is worth the extra few bucks and I legitimately can’t see myself wearing any other lens or frame ever again, no joke.”
