The glasses fit well, nice strap and sides, but the ChromaPop Glacier Photochromic lenses are disappointing. These are excellent low light and overcast day glasses, but I am blinded on sunny days and always go looking for my old glasses instead. They will be excellent MTB glasses in the woods I guess, but I would get non photochromic lenses next time.

After about 1 week of use, the temple hinges of my sunglasses began to break through the plastic. Smith took 2 weeks to respond to my inquiry and refused to refund me, instead offering a Smith gift card code. Technically, the 30 day window for refund had passed but they should respect their customers more than that and stand behind their product. When I submitted the refund, the problem with my glasses was in the drop-down menu, so this is an ongoing problem they will not address.

While they are certainly lightweight they border on flimsy. Not nearly as happen with these as I was with the Smith Barra's i used to own.

I’ve used these for everything from hiking and road and mountain biking to multi-day kayak treks - functionality is great and I really like the versatility of the removable components, but I’m very disappointed in the lens quality. ChromaPop is great but the coatings scratch extremely easily, I have the polarized green mirror lens and it’s covered in buffs after only 6 months of use and storage in case. Lens quality issues are definitely giving me second thoughts about buying the Smith Wildcat glasses for mountain biking. Unfortunate as otherwise they have been great, but I expected more from a $300+ pair of glasses.

Nice glasses. Great optical quality. The side shades are a nice touch. Wore them nearly every day for a few weeks before one of the temples detached at the hinge. Disappointing build quality for the money. Working on warranty return currently.
