just like other smith lenses, they fog when stopped on the ski hill - especially when wearing a neck gaiter or lower face mask. Also, insulation layer around perimeter of goggle could be better quality. As a positive, lens color was good in dense flat-light conditions which was the reason for the purchase.

These lenses offer excellent vision and the photo chromatic lens gives ridiculous range in varying light conditions.

I have early stage cataracts. The rose lens (storm rose flash) that I’ve relied on in flat light were no longer effective for me, not were the photochromatic lens which also have a rose coating. The yellow lens seems to be a major improvement

First time I have purchased low light lens. They were great! We have had a bunch of cloudy days this year and they have been perfect!

As a 20+ year fan of Smith goggles and gear, I really want to like these goggles and lenses. However, I have so far had to replace two of the lenses which inexplicably became stippled on the inside after light use, causing the very clear initial vision they provided to be impaired significantly. I noted with previous uses that sometimes when breathing thru my nose I would get fogging of the bottom of the lens. On a big pow day last weekend with ample face shots, besides the fogging, I noticed that a small amount snow was sneaking into the lens around the nose each time I got a facefull. I cleaned them out each time, took them off the frame, pressed on them etc. Eventually it became clear that the problem is that the lens does not seat well around the nose, and allows for air flow and even for snow to enter at this area. I was able to stop this from happening by applying pressure to the lens with a finger, but obviously this is not practical while skiing. I am admittedly sad, as I love the definition the 4D lens brings out on low light days, and the UV protection the lenses offer on bluebird days. I love the fit and look as well. Unfortunately, the lens does not properly keep out the elements, and for some reason becomes stippled with minimal use, despite careful air drying. It should be noted that the impressive Smith customer service was very quick to replace the two stippled lenses with no qualms. I will continue to buy Smith goggles and other products, but for now will likely revert to the I/O Mag until the 4D issues are solved.

Can't say enough good things about these goggles. They fit perfectly, the range of view is outstanding, and the lens clarity is next level. Worth every penny!
