“Caught an edge and was sent flying backwards down a run today going around 35mph. I hit my head really hard, bounced up and back down to hit it again, rolled over backwards, then spun around before my back edge stuck and stopped me. My helmet is absolutely toast, and although I do have a minor concussion, it could have been so much worse! Will be buying the same one as a replacement (miss the purple color, though)! As for other features, it’s super comfortable, and the flaps keep my very cold-sensitive ears from freezing! Great product!”

“My favorite helmet ever. Yesterday while skiing, I crashed out on a weird bump towards the bottom on the run—I flipped over and smacked my head against a mogul in the process, and as I reoriented myself to continue down the slope, all I could think was "I am so glad I am wearing this helmet. " It just felt like bouncing off a stiff bed or something. I'm sure I'd have a concussion right now if I wasn't wearing it. Smith helmets are by far the most comfortable kind of helmet I've worn and I'm really glad I purchased one. Worth it”

“Woaaaaah, can I say how much I love this helmet! I've always opted for better sales and deals in the past but splurged this season and it is well worth it! I can't talk more about the headphone compatibility in this helmet as well as in the past the cushion would always put pressure on my ears with my pucks in but this helmet, they've figured it out that it sits a little further away so no pressure yet just as warm still. I also love the BOA adjustor for a custom secure fit.”

“Immediately fell Day 1, pitched forward and hit my head on an icy slope. I could feel the helmet allow my head to rotate a little to deflect the impact. I quickly recovered and did not even end up with a headache! I was so grateful that I invested in this helmet. Also it was incredibly comfortable and warm. I skied in January and didn't need a hat underneath the helmet. My ears were comfortable all day despite being out for 6 hours. I have the Liberty helmet and I bought my daughters the Vida (black) and the Mission (white). They loved their helmets, too! The snowboarder with us is also in a Smith helmet and he attached a GoPro to his.”
