“I have a small head and was an ONLY Specialized Helmets fan because their size SMALL was just large enough to cover my head properly, but even the small looked mushroomy at times.
The first Smith helmet was the Podium TT and raced Ironman Arizona 2019 with it. That was such a great experience that I wanted another Smith helmet got my road bike.
And the Trace MEDIUM is just perfect. I hardly feel any sweat on my head through the implementation of those large air channels. The design looks awesome.
I wished the black helmet would come with other colors (instead of the GREEN) ... maybe a red or white. But that’s OK.”

“Fits my head well, and is very comfortable. The trace in matte black and green koroyd looks great with the green/black Attack Max shades. I was curious if there would be any wind noise at high speed due to the koroyd structure but no issue.”

“I bought this helmet as a replacement for a damaged Route (which I really loved). Because it was a warranty item, Smith gave me a replacement credit with zero hassle. The Trace is lighter and better ventilation than the Trace. Very happy with ever Smith helmet I have ever owned, and the Trace is no exception!”
