“This is a replacement for my first Smith Signal helmet. The reason I had to replace the first one was that I crashed my bike. When I woke up at the side of the road I had gravel stuck in my helmet, a broken thumb, a broken clavicle, 6 broken ribs and a punctured lung. Thanks to the helmet I did have any head or neck injuries! It may not be the most fashionable helmet but it definitely works.”

“Great helmet, great fit with no mushroom head look (most importantly). I bought this helmet for road biking use and have gone on many 4hr rides with no pinch points, rubbing or headaches. Highly recommend!”
“Overall I'm pleased with the helmet. It fits well and stays positioned on my head. I do think some more attention could have been given to the strap. The little rubber band is kind of cheesy (won't last). I suspect I will need to take out a needle and thread to fix it permanently. As an added feature it would be nice if one could buy a visor that would clip on to block the sun, but I took other measures to solve that issue. I hope I never have to find out if the extra expense for the advertised "safety features" was worth it. I took their word for it.”
