“I commute to work in the early AM when visability is important. I have two tail lights and a reflective bag, but sometimes even that isn't enough to be safe when it's that dark and early in the morning. I had a co-worker tell me that despite all that, it still made it hard to see me on her way to work. She saw a shadow figure, but wasn't really sure what it was and the bag didn't reflect as good as I hoped. So felt like I should get a added light and maybe a better helmet, so this helped with both.
Before this I typically just used my mountain bike helmet which is comfortable and vents well. Not sure how well it would hold up if I was struck by a car or hit pavement. Part of my concern going with a road helmet like this was getting too hot. Luckily this has been a non issue so far. I've been commuting with it for weeks and never once felt like it would be an issue.
If you commute and looking for a mips helmet, it's hard to best the price of this with it's features. The only knock of it, is the chin strap had a bit too much slack. The rubber band thing they use for the extra slack could be better, but if that's the worst thing, they did a good job.”

“I've been on a few rides now with this helmet and I love it. It fits comfortably and adjusts easily. The additional light on the helmet is nice when riding at night with very little or low street lights. Its light weight so my neck doesn't get tired while riding on those long rides, but it doesn't feel like it wouldn't protect my head if I were to crash. I feel this helmet wouldn't protect my noggin when called to do so. Overall, this is a great helmet!”

“I bought the L size Express helmet and it is a so much better fit than previous helmets I've owned. I suppose I have a long football head, and I no longer have a cavernous dent on my forehead after a long ride like with my previous similarly sized helmet.”
