“Very disappointed in these headphones. I bought these because my husband had the smith chips for his ski helmet and I heard nothing but great things. I used his a few times and loved them. These are the newer version than what he has so I incorrectly assumed they would be better. These are much thicker and do not fit very well in a ski helmet. When I wear these in my helmet ear pads my helmet is too snug and the speakers end up as a muffler, even when off, it is difficult to hear because they push against your head.
I love the smith brand, but these are very disappointing. I do not understand why a newer version of a product would be thicker, not thinner, than older versions.
I would love to return these but unfortunately I threw away the package because I was so certain they wouldn’t disappoint.”
“could not get these to work at all. won't play music, didn't fit in the helmet, etc... bought these for a trip to Europe to ski and ended up skiing without music the entire time because of it. very disappointing.”
“I don’t like increasing volume to maximum in order to lower volume. I can’t go back to a song that has just played, only can go forward to next song. I have asked other Aleck owners and they have said the same thing”
“It works really well, the charge lasts a long time. But I really wish it had a remote with hard buttons to strap to my wrist. Controlling the volume or the other basic features are a little hard through the padded ear flaps on my helmet.”

“My wife got these for me for my birthday. They are a great headphone but the don't fit into my Smith helmet. It is compatible with the Aleck but I'm at the upper end of the size range and there isn't room. However, they fit my wife's helmet perfectly, which may have been her plan all along. :) Just be sure you have room for them, even if your helmet is designed to be compatible.”
