“Poor lens quality, scratches very easily. Lens also fogs easily and water, from melting snow off helmet was able to run down in between the two lens where it was impossible to dry.”
“The latch that releases the lens is defective and falls out when I take the lens off. I can put it back together but the functionality is extremely poor for the cost. Otherwise they look and feel very good.”

“Love these goggles! The visibility/clarity are definitely on par with Oakley’s prizm tech. I’m a huge fan of Oakleys, been wearing them for around 15 years and these IO mag goggles are just as good at providing a solid contrast in terrain in any light conditions. And the fact that Smith ships a dedicated low-light lens(not just a clear one) is a real bonus. Not to mention they just look sick and fit seamlessly with Smith helmets. Lastly, the ventilation is next level. I’ve been in some nasty PNW weather with these lil guys and have had zero issues with fogging. Same goes for warmer weather, I could feel my face sweating and had zero fogging issues. And the cherry on top is how easy it is to swap lenses; it does take two hands to do, but it’s super easy breezy. Overall, they are the highest quality goggles I’ve ever owned, Smith has a new loyal customer right here!”
“I got the IO mag with 3 additional lenses. The photochromic lenses were awesome! Completely recommend.
However, the nexus helmet (large, medium too small for me), is shocking, too big. the helmet slides down my head, pushing the google almost past my nose. This is the first time with smith products. And I would recommend the products; however, the helmet is clearly not for my fit, and for over $300+ I'm disappointed. Should have kept with the Salomon one.”
