About Snoozer Pet Products:

Snoozer was established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 with the intention of manufacturing and selling the finest dog beds, dog car seats, dog sofas and pet accessories in the industry. The same values that drove the establishment of the company then remain instilled in the company today. Snoozer is family owned and operated, and most of our products are sewn and assembled by hand here in the USA.

As we like to say, there’s not a single difference between a Snoozer and a dog bed off the shelf: there are several.

Quality and durability are sewn into every detail. You can see it in the made-to-order fabric. You can feel it in superior, resilient cushioning. You can even smell it in the cedar shavings that accompany our poly fill.

Other details aren’t as obvious, but they matter just as much. For instance, overlocked stitching hides rugged brass zippers. That’s because liners are made to be washer-friendly, just like our covers. When the time comes, you can replace the filling and make your Snoozer like new again, year in and year out.

Your pet is part of the family. We get that – because we feel exactly the same way. That’s why we think about how dogs behave. We watch how they age. And we manufacture dog beds and other products that are going to make both you and your dog happy for a long, long time.

We’ve made lots of customers happy over the years —and their owners too. Thousands of Snoozer customers have shared their love of Snoozer Products with us. Click here to see a gallery of Snoozer love!

I've had regular round Cozy Caves with the orthopedic mattress for about a decade and three dogs. They are great! Love that they are made in USA. This is my first Cozy Cave crate bed. I bought it to go on the floor as a space saver (not for a crate). The dog receiving it already uses a Cozy Cave and had no problem figuring out how to go inside the crate bed, which does not have the plastic stay-open tube piece like her Cozy Cave. Overall cover design similar to other products and good, 5 star. The 4 stars is because I ordered this with the more expensive Forgiveness Washable Mattress. I'd only give the new washable mattress a 1 star and wish Snoozer had the orthopedic mattress for this new rectangular design. The Foregiveness Washable mattress is weird, and personally I sure would not want to sleep on it. It is a honeycomb spin of a thin plastic something like the material water bottles are made of (design reminds me of how cotton candy is made). Yes you could easily rinse it down. Rinsing it off is the only positive I can see. (1) It has hundreds of sharp edges at the end of each of those plastic strands. The fleece cover is meant to cover that up, but I walked on it and it does not eliminate it as I can still feel that texture and prickly nature on bare feet. I put a thick towel inside the cover over the top of the mattress. (2) If a dog peed in this, it is going to all go through the Foregiveness mattress and onto whatever surface the bed is sitting on. Any liquid would be like pouring a pan of water into a strainer/colander in the kitchen where it goes straight through the holes. I put a plastic diaper changing pad on the bottom to absorb and block liquid from coming through. (3) Because the mattress is mostly just vacant air, when my dog lays on the bed (she is 33 pounds) it compresses almost totally flat and so it provides virtually zero cushioning from the plastic crate bottom, or floor. If you used the cover empty, it would be very close to the same amount of "bed". Additionally, because the thing is just a mesh of soda bottle type plastic and mostly air, I think this bed is going to be cold in winter. Again, the dog is basically just laying on the floor and the cover but has no discernable amount of lift above the floor, the do will be at whatever floor temperature and draft is in the house. I left it down 3 nights and she went in it a few minutes. At the moment the crate bed is tipped up against the wall and not in use. I'm going to buy some sort of foam to replace the Foregiveness mattress inside the cover to make this product something I would use.
