About Snoozer Pet Products:

Snoozer was established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 with the intention of manufacturing and selling the finest dog beds, dog car seats, dog sofas and pet accessories in the industry. The same values that drove the establishment of the company then remain instilled in the company today. Snoozer is family owned and operated, and most of our products are sewn and assembled by hand here in the USA.

As we like to say, there’s not a single difference between a Snoozer and a dog bed off the shelf: there are several.

Quality and durability are sewn into every detail. You can see it in the made-to-order fabric. You can feel it in superior, resilient cushioning. You can even smell it in the cedar shavings that accompany our poly fill.

Other details aren’t as obvious, but they matter just as much. For instance, overlocked stitching hides rugged brass zippers. That’s because liners are made to be washer-friendly, just like our covers. When the time comes, you can replace the filling and make your Snoozer like new again, year in and year out.

Your pet is part of the family. We get that – because we feel exactly the same way. That’s why we think about how dogs behave. We watch how they age. And we manufacture dog beds and other products that are going to make both you and your dog happy for a long, long time.

We’ve made lots of customers happy over the years —and their owners too. Thousands of Snoozer customers have shared their love of Snoozer Products with us. Click here to see a gallery of Snoozer love!

Several yeaars ago I purchased, at a Wal*Mart, some of the "Cuddler" dog beds that had an upper layer that let dogs get isnide the beds, like a cave. My dogs, especially "Petey," a chihuahua/terier mix, loved them. But after years of HARD use by a LOT of dogs (I do rescue work), they finalluy all wore out. But I never forgot how much the dogs liked them, so I went onl;ine to try to locate them, and I did -- they are made in South Carolina by Snoozer. I looked at their website, and saw the "forgiveness" beds that make it easy to wash them -- plus I saw that I could also order replacement covers. So, I ordered SEVEN of them. They are actually custom-made once you place your order (lots of fabric choices), but I received them in less than a week. They come with a tag that remionds you that they are made by craftspeople, which I appreciate, since I have made money making handsewn toys and bean bag chairs (a long time ago, back when there were no commercially-produced bean bag chairs (!).) Once I got them, all I had to do was insert the bedding into the covers. That meant I got a good look at the washable beding, and boy, was I impressed! We are not talking just fiberfill the stuff that dogs love to tear out of toys and bedding! There is a botom layer of some kind of amazingly springy, porous, won't-collapse-at-all, product, through which water easily passes, and a washable pad (which you also could cover with a plastic trash bag, too, which I learned to do after a few dog accidents). Once they were all prepped and put out for testing, the first dog who immediately moved into a "cave" (they have a hoop inserted in that top layer so the dogs can see a way to get inside), Petey immediately moved in. Other dogs decided to lounge on top of the beds (they are very nice and supportive!), but slowly and surely some of them have been moving inside, and, as it gets colder, I know more of them will check out the cozy caves. It's fun to go peek into the living room to see who else has discovered they can have their own warm den without needing to dig. Speaking of which, I have had easy-to-find, cheaper dog beds that were/are rapidly destroyed by dogs digging into the beds' "floors," tearing the thin fabric and ripping out the loose filling that is not contained in a separate case. Take the advice of someone who's helped a wide range of dogs: If you are planning to keep your dogs for any length of time, do NOT buy a "cheap' dog bed! Buy a high-quality, American designed and made, washable and recoverable Cuddler dog bed. On a dog-related note, did you know that the proper name for dogs of mixed heritage is NOT "mutt"? It's "All American!" On the 2020 census, on the question about my own heritage, I checked "Other," and on the line where you describe what "other" means, I put "All American." Talking with a young woman at a call center in North Carolina in 2020, I discovered that she, too, had done exactly the same thing! We were very different ages and different "colors," but we both saw ourselves as "All American." Let's aim to get a lot more people to fill out the 2030 census the same way!
