About Snoozer Pet Products:

Snoozer was established in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 with the intention of manufacturing and selling the finest dog beds, dog car seats, dog sofas and pet accessories in the industry. The same values that drove the establishment of the company then remain instilled in the company today. Snoozer is family owned and operated, and most of our products are sewn and assembled by hand here in the USA.

As we like to say, there’s not a single difference between a Snoozer and a dog bed off the shelf: there are several.

Quality and durability are sewn into every detail. You can see it in the made-to-order fabric. You can feel it in superior, resilient cushioning. You can even smell it in the cedar shavings that accompany our poly fill.

Other details aren’t as obvious, but they matter just as much. For instance, overlocked stitching hides rugged brass zippers. That’s because liners are made to be washer-friendly, just like our covers. When the time comes, you can replace the filling and make your Snoozer like new again, year in and year out.

Your pet is part of the family. We get that – because we feel exactly the same way. That’s why we think about how dogs behave. We watch how they age. And we manufacture dog beds and other products that are going to make both you and your dog happy for a long, long time.

We’ve made lots of customers happy over the years —and their owners too. Thousands of Snoozer customers have shared their love of Snoozer Products with us. Click here to see a gallery of Snoozer love!

Really well made bed with a nice cushy pad. Construction seems strong as does the material. Wonderful Christmas purchase. Our dog loves it. Sleeps all night without stirring much. Lounges all the time on cold winter days. Gets in and out easily.

I ordered the XL Chocolate Ortho cozy cave. It is very large. The color is not a dark brown in my opinion. Maybe more of a grey. The cover seems to be very well made. Also the padding is not as nice as I would have expected for the orthopedic. Mine is just a pup but had I ordered this for an older dog I would not have been happy. Overall I would probably order again.

Absolutely love it. Not sure who likes it more, me or my dog. I find it just as cozy!

I am overall disappointed with the bed! This is our 3rd one in 6 years, and this one is significantly different than the previous ones. I get the XL size for my 55-lb shorthaired mixed breed pup, and they seem to last about 3 years before the fill gets too dirty and lumpy and can't be re-fluffed, and the sherpa lining becomes threadbare, and the hoop can't be convinced to stay in place at all. This time, I upgraded to the orthopedic version in hopes of a longer life for the bed. PROS: --The upgrade to the stitching around the hood to keep the plastic hoop anchored in place, which was a consistent problem on both previous beds. (But this feature also goes under CONS...) --This is our first orthopedic version, and it seems high quality, good firmness and comfort CONS: --The interior lining is a different material, and is significantly sub par to the previous beds. It doesn't have the coziness factor of the previous material, and is dramatically less-warm. (I also think it looks a bit cheap, especially in comparison to the previous faux-sherpa material.) My dog has been coming up into my bed with freezing ears at night because she's too cold! This never happened with the old beds. The hood is significantly thinner, and does not offer the warmth of the previous ones, which is important because of where we live, and a big reason we get these beds. Usually she loves getting a new bed, but I had both the new and old ones out for a few days, and she actually kept going into the old, lumpy, threadbare, dirty one until I took it away! --The website says there has been a change of materials due to supply issues due to the pandemic (...?) but that the previous liner material has been replaced with something of the same quality. I don't agree, and the price stayed the same for a product of reduced quality. --The hoop is now so secure in the bed that I don't know how I'll get it out to wash the cover. This is a significant issue, because the bed needs to be washed every few months, at least. If I can't wash it, then what -- I buy a replacement cover several times a year...? I super loved this product in the past, and I want to stay with this brand for many reasons (Made in the USA!) but I have to admit I'm shopping around for a new bed. If I find one that seems comparable to the old version of the Snoozer brand Cozy Cave, I'll be returning this one. (Although the box completely fell apart during delivery; fortunately, the bed was undamaged.)
